GRAB N GO FROM HOME

Grab N Go from home is for those of us that like to have snacks handy at any given time, and don't like having to search around for sustenance.

In all truthfulness, not having snacks on hand, and then dealing with low blood sugar, is the perfect storm of grabbing crappy food at the first place you can find it.

✅ The pros of grabbing your own snacks

 from home are:

>>>Paying normal prices for snacks that will

cost you double at the airport

>>>Having something on hand immediately

when you're hungry

>>>Being prepared for flight delays,

traffic jams, and, well...life

>>>Not having to fret over ingredients

in the snacks you choose while you're in a rush

Shopping, but not sure what to make

 of ingredients lists?

Check the nutrition label

 and follow this rule: ✅

3-6-3

> 3 grams protein

< 6 grams sugar

> 3 grams fiber

Here's where you find that info fast on the food label.

And this example is a BAD choice because of the high amount of added sugars.

✅If you're driving or able to take a smaller cooler pack, combine healthy fats + protein + fiber + complex carbs:

cheese stick + apple

almonds + fruit

peanut butter + apple

hummus + 100% whole grain crackers

cottage cheese + blueberries

Here are some perfect options you can order online (or buy at the store) and have on hand: ✅

Tuna and crackers are the perfect combo of protein with omega 3's + complex carbs with fiber. I don't recommend the regular snack or lunch packs from the grocery store because those crackers are made from white flour and sugar. Instead, pair the packets of tuna with packs of 100% whole grain crackers!

truth Bars are great because they also use whole food ingredients that have lots of fiber, plenty of protein, and no added sugars. But they also have probiotics in them. *Just know they're sweetened with sugar alcohols which some people are a bit sensitive to, stomach-wise.

Jimmy! bars definitely fall into the low sugar, high protein category. But they're a little lacking in fiber. That aside, if you need a high protein, energy boosting snack, this is it. They even have a Wake It Up flavor with caffeine for a super energy boost first thing in the a.m.
