DAIRY-FREE EATING
What it is:
A way of eating that does not include anything with dairy or dairy products in it.
Why you'd want to eat this way:
If you are lactose intolerant
If you have a dairy allergy
If you are sensitive to dairy
Many people with chronic conditions or autoimmune conditions feel better dairy-free
Some people lose weight more easily going diary-free
Some people with skin conditions or inflammation problems do much better going dairy-free
What's allowed:
Anything that does not contain dairy or dairy products (milk or milk products)
What's NOT allowed:
Milk
Cheese
Yogurt
Cream
Half and Half
Ice cream
Anything processed that contains dairy
*It's pretty difficult to be dairy-free, but if you're out shopping or eating, you would look for 'vegan' options since vegans do not eat dairy.
